Plato, fetters round the neck, and the Quran

I analyze fi gures and themes of Plato’s “Allegory the Cave” evident in chapter thirty-six Quran. argue that two texts share (1) a neck fetter fixing head; (2) spatial organization barriers before behind covering above; (3) theme failure to see truth assault upon those who tell truth, (4) transcendent reality as context meaning. Quran displays an inheritance some Platonic thought Arabic at least centuries prior any known translation Plato.
